Looking for Network adapter drivers for Compaq Presario

Hello, im a member of OverClock.net and Sevenforums was suggest for my current situation. I just upgraded my Compaq Presario SR1403wm from (Windows Xp Home edition) to (Windows 7 pro 32 bit). Everything went well except im now missing Network adapters/Ethernet and am unable to connect to the internet. Im having a hard time finding drivers that support the Mobo/OS. HP refused to provide me with driver because the fact that its a retail version.

Any suggestions? Thank you

I've already downloaded that but when i run that program it says that i need to be connect to the internet which = back to square 1

Ok.... im a little lost. Are you saying that doing this will find my drivers...or are you looking for more info on my network adapter? Im sorry..very tired.

I'm trying to help you get the drivers, so you can put it onto a USB key and manually update the adapter. If you cannot access the net due to driver issues of the adapter, how else are you going to update the driver?

My pc is buggered have to restart, but try and search for "SiS900 10/100 Ethernet Adapter". Put if onto your USB key and test it.

Im pretty much done for. Theres not a single link that i can download this driver for.

Looks like me same, and the stupid HP site doesn't allow for individual device drivers download either...looks like you need to call up the vendor.

LATE but Found the driver, have this same computer. Same device ID

This is an SIS component, I found the driver on SIS website, link to exact driver:
SiS - Welcom to Silicon Integrated Systems Corporation.

if that does not work go here:
http://w3.sis.com/> select SiS900 LAN Driver under top downloads at the bottom left.

IT shows it is for XP, but I ran the install on WIN 7 32bit OS and it worked just fine...
