win 7 64 bit. I am a big computer n00b so bare with me!

I normally have my computer on "Balanced" and under my advanced settings I have the low battery notification turned ON on BOTH plugged in and battery. However, there use to be a box that popped up and said "Low battery please plug in" when it got to my low battery setting of 10% and I'd have to click and "OK" box. Well now, nothing happens. HOWEVER, if i have my computer on "Power Saver" or "High Performance" then I do still get that warning message. I have been through all the low power/critical power settings on all 3 of the different plans and made sure they are all identical still with no fix. Hoping you experts could help me out!

Thanks in advance!

Hello Eb,

I suppose that for now, you could use one of the "Power Saver" or "High Performance" plans set the way you wanted instead, or use a custom power plan if you didn't want to use one of them.

You might see if resetting all power plans back to default using Option One in the tutorial below may be able to help. You'll have to set your power plan settings back to how you wanted them afterwards though.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Awesome, since I never use high performance I just copied the balanced settings like you said and its working. Good enough for me! Thanks so much! /thread
