I'm having a problem w/the driver for MagicDisc, I'll try to list as much as I can recall.
On the 5th of this month, I recieved a new hard drive & I proceeded to install 7 Pro 64Bit & all my programs. All was going just fine when I ran into trouuble installing MagicDisc. I recieved some error about the driver not being "certified by Microsoft" (or something along those lines). Since I've used MagicDisc in the past on 7 Pro 64Bit, I still let the driver go through w/the installation. After this, my computer started going bad.
Checkdisc came up during reboot; after all was done, computer started but went right back into Checkdisc & looped once again. I then started in Safe Mode & tried a System Repair, but that was a no go. This went on for 2 days & I could not remedy the problem.
Then, I got another harddrive & reinstalled the OS & all my programs again (leaving MagicDisc for last). After a day of Windows Updates, checking programs & reboots & finding out all was well; I decided to install MagicDisc. Same problems arose & I had to get things checked out professionally; it was concluded that my problems had to do w/some driver named: MCDBUS.DLL
I now have a NEWLY Fresh install of Win 7 Pro 64Bit & everything has been installed exept MagicDisc. I am a little hesitant to try MagicDisc again, so I emailed the company ([email protected]) but have not heard back from them in 4 days. All I'd like to find out is if there are any problems w/Magicdisc's program/driver.
