Media Center Flashing from large to small screen

I just bought this computer 2 weeks ago. I did get to set up Media Center and then when I tried to use it, it started flashing back and forth between a small black window on the left corner and a big black window across the whole screen. After I click on that repeatedly, it comes up with the Media Center screen. When I then try to click on ANYTHING, the flashing starts up again. I tried updating the driver for the monitor, but it says it has the best driver for the product installed. I went to Gateway and it gave me a Tuner driver to install, but I cannot open the Install Manager (another separate problem I have with the computer, so I don't know how to install those drivers and if that even helps. If anyone can help, I would sooo appreciate it.

Strange, never seen that issue. Did you update your video card drivers as well? Try changing your resolution. Try larger, then try smaller. See if that changes it?
