My Computer

OS
Windows 7 32bit RTM
I think i figured out the problem, i unchecked every program and non-microsoft service that starts up with windows, did a restart and so far the memory is not climbing. I'll list the services and programs i had, so if someone in the future will have this problem they can try this.

Services:
AMD External Events Utility
ServiceLayer (app for Nokia phones)
Steam Client Service

Programs:
Daemon Tools Lite
razerhid application
PCSuite (nokia)
Windows Sidebar
Catalyst Control Center
fortemanager (LG monitor app)

EDIT: nope, my memory is still climbing to full the more i use the computer :(

Whatever you're using to "clean up" memory is actually not doing what you think and most likely making things worse.

You are on the correct path now with trying to find the cause of the problem to being with.

And Chev65's suggestion was very accurate and on point regardless if it turned out to be the cause or not.

how is it making things worse? its actually making things better as i don't have to restart every hour now due to all my memory being used by something. I can't even open My Computer without a 10 second delay, and usually it is instantly opened. I'm so frustrated over this right now and thinking ov reinstalling windows :( the mere thought of reinstalling all the drivers/programs/settings just makes me more sad.

EDIT: here is what i use: http://www.koshyjohn.com/software/memclean.html
I press the "Clear System Cache" and usually when my memory usage is full it clears it from 99% usage to 16-22%, so maybe it has to do something with the system cache.

I know that windows is supposed to use RAM for system cache, but not all of it . and it is not displayed as Cached as seen in the first screenshot.

It is masking the underlying cause by using something like that. They always clear memory that is best left in the RAM.

Fix the problem properly somehow by reinstall, refrain from using those utilities because they are going against all the work Microsoft engineers have put into the OS and you will be much better off.

actually, i figured it out, it was uTorrent, it was an advanced setting i changed a while back because i got a problem with it. The setting was diskio.flush_filesand it was set to false.

Problem solved. I am a happy camper now ^_^
