This bsod happens when I plug a standard mouse into one, or either, front usb ports. The same mouse will work fine in a rear usb port I use it in. A standard keyboard does not cause this in those front usb ports and I can plug a flash drive in also with no problem. I am reluctant to be manufacturing a bunch of blue screens but I can do other testing with other devices and the various ports if you instruct me to. I have just recently updated bios, chipset and video drivers on this pc. I believe this problem was before and after as I remember although this hasn’t always been this way. If this is some kind of usb driver issue I don’t know how to find the proper drivers. Using the windows driver tool says everything is up to date, but clicking on to update the mouse driver causes a blue screen. Other mice cause the blue screen also.

I followed the instructions for the zip file. Hopefully this can give you something to go on for this. I don’t know if it will just give you the most recent report as I was working with this, but I suppose they would all be similar. It looked like it said 4 reports. Thanks for any help.

You are running an Acer Product ID (PID) on a Zotac board.
This makes your installation counterfeit.
Troubleshooting a counterfeit installation is useless as it is not known what has been modified to your system.
A counterfeit installation contains heavily modified code which causes the system to behave in unexpected ways.
For this reason, analyzing counterfeit systems is unreliable and most analysts won't try it.
Code:
OS Configuration: Standalone Workstation
OS Build Type: Multiprocessor Free

I recommend to install a genuine copy of Windows.
If, after you have installed a genuine copy of Windows, you still get BSOD's we'll be happy to assist you.
