Solved Microsoft Word 2007

Hello!
I have a problem
When I attempt to open a Word document, I get a error message:

"Word failed reading from this file. Please restore the network connection or replace floppy disk and retry."

Does anyone know how I can fix it? It's a very important document.

How exactly did you attempt to open the doc ?
Did you open word and search for the file or did you click on the doc expecting it to open in word ?

Did you try doing a System Restore as mentioned in that website you supplied.

I know it's probably a bit late now but having back ups of important files is essential. In fact I do a weekly image of my hard drive once a week to an external hard drive.
