Hello,
I really don't want to upgrade vista to a beta version of windows seven, so instead i was thinking of using windows se7en virtually.
Has anyone got any tips or advice.
What is the best beta version to use, I heard rc1 isn't as good as the beta.:D:D:devil2:

Yay my first post on the seven forums.:party:

RC1 is much better than the beta. More things work with it.

Install Downloads - VirtualBox and give Windows 7 a test run.

Hello Fastboy,

Welcome to Seven Forums.

Unfortunately, since all hardware is virtualized in VBox, you won't have some things that are in W7. Aero glass for one. You can however test the functionality. The RC is working great here. Instead of an upgrade, why not run it as a dual boot? It is a beta, and having Vista available in case things go bad is very comforting if your new to this sort of thing. If you do decide to upgrade, be sure to have good backups of all your 'stuff' just in case.

i suggest creating a separate hardrive partition and installing win7 on that. Walla you now have both.
