Hi there,

I'm having some very small issues with windows explorer.

First, whenever I look at my pictures, video, and music, there's a drop down thing. I can't really describe it, so I've attached a couple pictures. The picture titled "music" shows what I mean. In comparison, the picture titled "documents" shows what I want (without the drop down thing). How do I remove remove the drop down thing??

Secondly, I just noticed that that my windows explorer has a tiny line of pixels under the address bar. As far as I know, that wasn't there before. I also checked my other windows 7 computer, and it does not have that line under the address bar. Anyone know how to repair this?

Hello Jeniusekid,

The dotted line indicates where the menu bar should be if turned on.

While in your Music library, you can click on View (menu bar), click on Group by, and click on (None) to undo it to go back to the way it looks in your Documents library.

Hope this helps,
Shawn

Oh wow thank you SO much!!! I've been annoyed by that drop down for MONTHS now, yet it's so simple to remove!! Thanks again Shawn!

Regarding the menu bar, is there a way to remove that dotted line? Because that wasn't there before.

You're most welcome.

Sorry, but there's not a way to remove the line. :(

If you turn the menu bar on and off, you'll see what I mean better.
