i wanted to check system files (sfc /scannow) through the command prompt, but I keep receiving an error that I cannot run the file check. I tried to find out why that is happening and from what i've read it is often caused by missing Trustedinstaller.exe and that is indeed the case as the file is nowhere to be found where it is supposed to be. i didn't manage to find any solution as to how i can restore the file in windows 7 (x64) without reinstalling windows completely - is there a way to do this?
