I have Windows 7 Ultimate running with an i7 processor and a Verizon HTC VX6800 Windows 6.1 phone. Following MS directions the phone is connected to the PC via USB and Mobile Device Center. Windows Media Player was used to create a playlist. My 16gb memory chip has 14 gb available after Outlook and other mobile applications are installed. Using Media Player I start the sync from the pc's music library to the phone's library on the memory card installed in the phone.
It's been syncing nearly 24 hours a day for 9 days so far and although music is being transferred, so far only 7gb of music has reached the phone. This is just wrong!
Any ideas?

Let me get this right, you have been downloading from your PC to your phone for 9 days all day for 24 hours?

Well I think you are right when you say "This is wrong". I really admire your patience! This seems a very specialised problem and I think only MS will be able to offer any help. Although perhaps someone on this Forum has experience if these phones and will come to your aid. Sorry but it is totally beyond me.

My solution to the incredibility slow sync between Media Player and my phone was to remove the memory chip from the phone, plug it into the computer, and do a direct file copy with Windows Explorer.
