modify keyboard ps2 to usb

I have a keyboard A4Tech, with PS2, i don't want to change it, and i want to know if it's possible to modify the interface. Could i cut the cable, remove the PS2 jack, and replace it with USB interface ?
Would that work, guys ?

Most keyboards work OK with the PS/2 to USB converters, however I have run across a few that didn't. But a converter is worth the try if you don't want to get another keyboard.
