Solved More "permissions" BS

I am the only account on this 7 pro 64 bit new set up. I am administrator when viewed under "users". UAC on never. Just tried to load this codec pack from a reliable source Download K-Lite Codec Pack 15.7 for Windows - Filehippo.com. Couldn't complete, says I'm not admin., even though I "ran as admin." What am I missing here?

Confirm you right clicked and chose run as admin is it exe file or MSI?

Maybe try a different download source.

Thanks for the replies. I had tried a different Major Geeks pack that wouldn't load, but the MEGA PACK did! Download K-Lite Mega Codec Pack - MajorGeeks Should supply "All My Codec Needs!
