My motherboard will be here next week to go with the processor that I just received last week. I was just wondering if some of you who have the same board, could tell me what memory you bought that worked good with your motherboard. I'm looking for a 2x4GB pair total (8GB) in the range of 75-$100.00 I'd like to use G.SKILL 1600 speed if possible. Here's the board & processor Thanks! :)

I don't have your board, but I've had fantastic luck with Muskin Blackline RAM in all of my builds. There's never been a compatibility issue with any of my boards.

I don't have that board but I can tell you I see no issues with running any G Skill ram with that rig, in fact i would look to up the speed and go with 2x4gb in at least 1866 or 2133 mhz as the price increase will be marginal and this is the time to go for speed, heck you can push that bad boy all the way to these or beyond:

Newegg.com - G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2400 (PC3 19200) Desktop Memory Model F3-2400C11D-8GSR
Will it make any difference since the processor recommends 1600mhz speed? Thanks! :)

Yes it will be markedly snappier and if you saved tons maybe stick with 1600 (it's not a bad choice) but why handicap yourself when the mobo calls for up to 3000mhz (huge dollars).

By the way, that CPU can run RAM maybe up to 2666MHz if you get a good one. It defaults to 1600 if not adjusted or XMP set in the UEFI/BIOS.

Ok well good you'll keep things at stock speeds as these Haswell's get a wee bit hot when pushed some.

I have the same fan on a PentiumD-3.0GHz OC to 3.6GHz. Easy to mount, no motherboard removal & twist clips for the base only. Heat exchanger is screwed to the base.
Temp stays around 30degC & never gets over 40, even with 100% cpu useage.
