i have an ASUS motherboard and it came with a disc that has PC Probe 2 on it. its a cool little program that lets me see voltages, and temperatures within my system. anyway, after doing something computer incentive, like playing a game, PC Probe 2 says that my motherboard temperature is high. the warning happens at around 45c, which seems pretty cool to me. just want to know if that really is a high motherboard temp or not?

I have PC Probe II as well for my ASUS motherboard. One thing I've noticed is that they have a pre-determined warning threshold for the temperatures and fan RPMs in the options. I don't pay attention to my motherboard temps as closely as I do my CPU and GPU, so I couldn't tell you if 45c is the norm, but it doesn't seem very high to me. It's about 110ish Fahrenheit.

My CPU (Athlon II X4) under load maxes at around 45 to 47 Celsius, and my motherboard is usually cooler, so..you may want to look in your options, and maybe increase the warning threshold by a few degrees. Keep an eye on your temps.

Edit: I just checked my PC Probe settings. I have not adjusted any thresholds in my temps options since installation, my motherboard's threshold is at 60 Celsius and my CPU is at 77 Celsius. Just for reference :)
