My mouse's right click is not functioning properly. When I press down the right mouse button, nothing happens, but when I release the button it seems to perform right mouse down and right mouse up at the same time. I figured this out through Browser Mouse Event Test Page. I have tried switching to a different mouse, but it still has the same issue. Everything else about my mouse seems to be fine(left click, movement, ect.). This makes me unable to hold down the right mouse button, which is required in most games.
Thanks :)

I have tried restarting the computor. I have switched mouses so the problem is not mouse-specific. If anyone knows how to solve this, help would be great, thanks.

I don't see you have a problem.
As far as I know Right click or Left click only complete the operation on the release of the key on the mouse.
At least on all the several mice I have used through the years.

clarification

When you use a mouse, there are two signals sent to the computer: mouse press and mouse release. When you press down a mouse button, it sends the mouse press signal, and when you release the mouse button it sends the mouse release signal. Currently, my mice seems to be sending both signals when I release the mouse button. I noticed this when I was playing Minecraft. I was unable to drink potions or shoot a bow because it requires that you press down the mouse button and hold it, meaning to the computer a delay between mouse press and mouse release.

hi! Have you tried installing a driver for this particular mouse? Sometimes, bugs like that are solved by installing a driver.

I recently got a new mouse(a week ago) and this problem developed 2 or so days ago(whenever this thread was posted). I immediately tried switching to my previous mouse which I have had for several years. This did not solve the problem. I do not believe both mice are suddenly having the same problem because of a driver issue.

I know it is rude to bump, but this problem still isn't fixed, and is very annoying.
