Mousepad driver

Hello everybody,

I recently installed windows 7 (64 bit) on my Sony Vaio VGN-N31M, but since i've installed my new windows, my mousepad doesn't work properly. I can move the mouse, but before I installed windows 7, I was also able to scroll with my mousepad. Does anybody know how this could be solved?

You need to update the driver, see the link in my sig for x64 drivers and find the one for your touchpad.

I suspect it is a simple as a mouse driver. Check sonys site for it.

Have you checked the link in my sig for the Alps driver, which is where I got mine from.

Is your laptop somewhat older? There may not be a driver for win 7. Google your model and drivers.
