moving downloaded programs from one user account to another

I have a new Windows 7 64 bit machine. It currently has two user profiles. I have installed some software into my user profile. I would like it available in the other user profile. Do I have to install again or can I transfer from one profile to the other?

Most installers will ask you if you want to install for Everyone or Just Me. Probably depends on the app if it's worth uninstalling then installing for all users. If they don't take up much disk space the easiest is probably just to install again. If the program makes configuration files under Program Files(x86) then you may want to install the second copy in another folder.

Short answer is I think it's a program by program decision.

If both " user accounts " are admin accounts, one install applies to both.
