I have Windows 7 for Dummies in front of me. It gives a series of steps for transferring my files and settings from my old Windows XP computer to my new Windows 7 computer.First I'm going to copy the Windows 7 Easy Transfer program to my old computer with a Flash drive. Then I'm going to connect the old and the new with an Easy Transfer USB cable. (I just got an Inland cable at Micro Center for $19.) But now I'm asked to do tasks that seem to require two monitors. I have to click on options from both computers as far as I can tell from the book. My question: Will I need two monitors to do the transfer job correctly or will my one monitor be sufficient?

I've never used Easy Transfer, but I am sure you don't need 2 monitors. You may have to use 1 computer and then another, but you could certainly use the same monitor.
