win7 pro is installed on C drive with limited space becuase its on a SSD 120gb. I want to move the windows update folder software distro to the F drive that i have with plenty of space then create a junction. i found a how to but some parts of it dont work or dont allow me to change some things. is there another way to do this? try conservere space. can windows updates be deleted instead if not would be nice if i could have windows updates write to another drive.

when i run a junction command it says junciton not recognized as a command, also when i run this command:
rename C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.del it says access denied im an administrator and ran cmd as admin
