Mozilla Firefox 43.0 (64-bit) - PlugIn Container Crash Problem

This has been a recurring problem with the 32-bit versions of Firefox that I've used in the past. I've now switched to the current 64-bit version (43.0) only to find that this problem is occurring.
I had been keeping the 32-bit version bug at bay using the user environment variable "MOZ_DISABLE_OOP_PLUGINS" but that no longer works for the 64-bit version. I've gone so far as to add "64" to the variable in several different ways but none of those worked.

Any suggestions on a fix or workaround for this?

Suggest: Clean install flash player.

Flash Player removal tool: https://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

Make sure you follow all steps including step 3d

Delete:
C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash
%appdata%\Adobe\Flash Player
%appdata%\Macromedia\Flash Player

Confirm deletion by attempting to navigate to the above folders once they have been deleted.

Important: Step 4.1
Restart your computer before fresh installing flash player.

Other stuff you can try:

Backup your profile (bookmarks and extensions)

MozBackup - Backup tool for Firefox and Thunderbird

Uninstall Firefox and delete leftovers:

https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/uninstall-firefox-from-your-computer

Include these steps:

   Note
To remove other files and folders that may not be removed by the uninstall, you must manually delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations by default:
32-bit Windows: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
64-bit Windows: C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox

   Note
Pess the Windows key +R to open a Run dialog, type in %APPDATA%\Mozilla\ and click OK to open the Mozilla folder, then delete the Firefox folder.

Reboot. Clean install Firefox then restore your bookmarks and extensions from the Mozbackup file that you saved.

Other:

Test Cyberfox 64bit Portable to see if you get the same problem. You would need the AMD x64 version (portable)

Okay so a clean install of Firefox didn't fix it. That leaves me baffled. You're getting the same problem with other browsers too. Suggest making sure that you have disabled all add ons and plugins except Shockwave Flash plugin.

Check that the following files exist:

C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash\NPSWF64_20_0_0_267.dll

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash\NPSWF32_20_0_0_267.dll

Then check the contents of the folders to make sure that only one .dll is shown in each folder:

C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash

C:\Windows\SysWOW64\Macromed\Flash

Other than that fill in your system specs (in your profile) and let us know what on board security software you use.

I've checked both Flash folders. Each DLL file is in its proper place and no extra DLLs are there.

As far as security software goes:
Anti-virus and anti-malware - SEP, MBAM, and Spybot SD
Firewall software - Comodo (only the firewall software) and Peerblock

Security extensions on Firefox - AdBlockPlus, NoScript, Privacy Badger

Not sure if I mentioned it before or not, but I did try Firefox in Safe Mode and got the same plugincontainer.exe crash loop.

Okay I wondered if security software could be interfering with browsing but those you listed look okay.

Would you Firefox and type

about:support

into the address bar. Press "Enter" then select the option to copy text to your clipboard. Then paste it into text editor and save a copy with the .txt extension and attach it to a post?

Also type

about:plugins in the address bar and press "Enter"

Post a screenshot please.

EDIT:

Get a copy of AppCrashView and run it. Check for any availabe report for plugin-container.exe and upload a copy if found.
