My color scheme keeps reverting back to basic

It keeps changing to the Windows 7 basic scheme. I keep having to change it back. Occasionally I get a message that says my color scheme is making my computer slow and if I want to keep it.

Do you have any older programs running on your computer? How about any software off of a CD or DVD? These are two common issues. It mostly happens when a program designed for Windows XP is running on Windows 7.

Yea, I know about that issue. But this time it happened when I was doing nothing at all. It seems to have stopped also. So weird.
