My computer restarts randomly

My computer with Windows 7 Professional restarts randomly.

Is there any .log file that I can see what happens and restarts my computer ?

Control Panel\System And Security\System Properties\Advanced\Startup and Recovery Settings\Automatically restart is disabled (unchecked)

When you say "Start". Do you mean it is turned off and it turns on by itself? If not, what exactly happens.

I said "REstarts" and I mean that Windows restart.
At some point and while is idle computer REstarts with the message "Windows did not shutdown correctly" (or something like that) and after 30sec countdown Windows start normally.

So I'm searching any file (probably .log file) that can help me understand what happens

Your System Partition is formatted EFI and your other partition is NTFS. That looks wrong but I am not that familiar with EFI. Let me see if I can find you some help. Hang in there.

There are some errors in Event Viewer but I think they are no relevant with the problem.
How can I "upload" Event Viewer log here so you can check it ??

No. No blue screen. Just a sudden shutdown or restart

Your computer probably has restart on error selected. You want to disable that so you get a BSOD. That is the easiest way to find out what is causing the error rather than reading through lines and lines of log files.

Disable reboot on error:
1. Open System in the Control Panel
2. In the left pane, select System protection
3. Click the Advanced tab
4. In the last section Startup and Recovery, click the settings button
5. Under System Failure, remove the check/tick in front of Automatically restart

You will get a BSOD instead of a reboot. Write down the string in front of the ( ) and also any words then post the results.

But it IS disabled as you can see in my #1 post and in attached screenshot and no BSOD appears.
That's why I'd like to "upload" Event Viewer log to check that.

You have Write debugging information set to none in the dropdown list.
Select the Small Memory Dump (or whatever), to get some dump info.
I'm on W10 right now, and i think my choices are different than what W7 shows.

OK. I changed that to Small Memory Dump.
So what's next step ?

After you get your next random restart (or crash) see if you get a dump file.
Post another screen print of your Startup and Recovery window.
I don't know what will happen if you have Small Memory Dump selected and you still have MEMORY.DMP entered in dump files.
What happens might depend on how much space you have allocated for your Paging File.

You may need to set the dump file to MINIDUMP (not MEMORY).
The change should happen automatically, but check to make sure.

Again, I'm on W10, so the exact wording may be a bit different for you.

Small memory dump and Kernel memory dump
Which is the right ?

Virtual Memory is set to automatically. Is this OK ?

I think that should be OK.
I don't know if the BSOD experts prefer a full dump, or want only a minidump.
If no-one else replies, we'll find out when you post with the dump file after your next crash.

I've never played with or tested this and know what it does and how it works.
It's just one of those changes for W10, that i don't know about yet.

I think Bigmck, is on the right track, my partitions are both NTFS, and in most of the tutorials i've read there is no mix of the 2..
suspect thats why your getting a SHUTDOWN failure not a restart problem.
Please post a copy of your BIOS settings.

the required bios settings
the way to convert the EFI partition to NTFS.

Finally I set that to Small Memory Dump

No restart today until now. Waiting...

Sorry for my delay

The computer is new. I have it for about 5-6 months and I bought it with THIS configuration.
I did no change to BIOS.
But if you suspect that the problem is a wrong BIOS configuration I can change it.
Of coarse I do NOT want loose my data !!!

Which part of BIOS configuration do you need to see for check ?
