Well, as far as I can tell there is no my.ini in Windows 7, and I need it functionality. What in Windows 7 has replaced my.ini?

Not sure if this is the right section, if not sorry...

What does my.ini have to do with Windows or Microsoft? This is the MySQL configuration file is it not?

All of my systems still run fastest on XP 32-bit for the most part. Win7 is fun to play with, but I still prefer XP for raw speed, security, and functionality.

Yes it is a MySQL config file. Someone was telling me it was a Windows file bla bla. I am setting aup a game server which uses MySQL. A person was telling me it wasn't working becuase of My.ini. Thank you for confirming my thoughts.
