My Internet connection

Hi I just recently got a disc and I install windows vista 64-but I did everything but when I got on the internet icon above my keyboard it red and I can't turn it on, I try many thing but still doesn't work. please help.

Hi ... What is the exact Model Number of your Laptop ? ... Which Software have you Installed from the Dell Website ? ...

Did you install ethernet driver of your motherboard model for your laptop?
what is the model of you laptop?

this seems like what my wifes brother called me about the wireless would not turn on was red went over to his house and what it was had to touch the red wifi antana symbol to make it turn blue to turn it on.

I has tried to touch it like 50times and it is still red, it would not turn blue and I still can't find how to fix it

do you have any errors in device manager? did you go to the link i provided to get the drivers and install the chipset driver first then the others.

I can't install it because I don't have Internet on my laptop, and that icon is the reason why I can't get on the Internet with my laptop.

you have to download it from an internet working computer and transfer it over to the one thats not working can use a flash drive or cd

without driver you cant access internet.. download from the website oscer1 provided from other working computer with internet and install it in your pc..
