My windows 7 wont let me update my norton

All i did was a virus scan. with safe mode and opened auslogics boostspeed and the same problem continues

Yeah, you might just need to reset the laptop to factory settings and reinstall what you need. It's difficult to diagnose your problem like this.

I just quickly scanned through all these posts, so sorry if I missed this if it was previously asked.

When you set up your wireless network, did you select "public location" by any chance? I know when I enter my PC into a public network my Norton 360 will not update.
