after seeing all the widespread hate towards avg, I decided to move to "system mechanic" since it was voted the best of 2014 for windows maintenance. I ran a scan then looked over everything and it looked fine so I clicked "fix problems" thinking it was only getting rid of dead shortcuts and checking if it needs to defrag or anything of that nature. Now for some reason its doing this.

you guys have helped me before so I was wondering if you know why it might be doing these things, its been really annoying. Since I didn't have this problem with AVG I have since moved back to AVG. I know that programs like that aren't needed however its just way easier to press a single button then going through all of my setting by hand. I am starting to see now that its not as convenient as I thought.

there is a bit of news on this, for some reason my screen is also able to be selected by hovering my mouse over another screen, how do I make it so I have to click the applications to select them? Like if im in skype talking to someone and my mouse slides off of skype it will go to that program and make it the active program window. I think thats the key to fixing the problem if anyone knows how to turn off the "hover select" (for lack of a better term).

Fixed it myself guys, but thanks for reading and thinking I guess. Just in case someone else has that problem heres what I did. I went to search and typed "change how your mouse works" then I unchecked "activate window by hovering over it with the mouse"
