http://www.sevenforums.com/bsod-hel...even-when-not-playing-possible-gpu-issue.html
Link above to last issue posted elsewhere, suggested I try here.
Long story short - played a game and after a day or two, it froze. After this first freeze, every time I ran this game again, it would freeze within seconds of starting. I updated a driver and it worked again for about eight hours. It then froze again. Every time I restarted this game, it would freeze within a minute or two.
Casual browsing and watching videos tends to be OK, but starting up a game causes me to freeze up almost instantly. Watching videos tends to get me to freeze but it takes longer.
I can CONSISTENTLY get a freeze with one particular game or if I turn on videos to full screen and watch it for a while. I don't think it's a temperature issue since it's been running fine for a year, relatively new, and if anything it's only gotten colder (WINTER TIME!).
I suspect something with GPU or CPU but I have only managed to get two BSODs in the last week and I can't get any more (the ones I did get don't give me anything that I know what to do with).
Any ideas?
