Need for speed most wanted

hello

i just tried to install need 4 speed most wanted on vista ultimate 64 bit os but i get the error messege that this game need directx 9.0 i browse the dvd and install directx 9.0 but still get the same error any idea or path to run this game with win 7 coz this one its best of all series and never get boared of playing it.

I have the same problem of 17mayis.. The version of the directX in my PC is the 11.
Sholud must i download the old version of the directX 9.0c?? This is impossible i think...
I've tryed to install the pach of NFS 1.3 but the problem continuous..

I will say Download Direct X 9.0 i from microsoft website, because there is a lot of difference between 9.0 i and 9.0
