Need Help with System Interrupts - GTX580

Problem solved. The new GTX 580 I put in works like a charm. No system interrupts. I can run Crysis 2, BF3, The Witcher 2, Rage, etc all at Ultra settings with nice fps and no lag. The video card was the problem. Trying to get a hold of EVGA so they can generate me an RMA ticket.

IDK exactly what's wrong with the original card, but it's gonna go back. Weird. It passed stress/heat tests, but for some reason it's the cause of the interrupts. My rig screams now. Thanks for all the suggestions, should anything change, I'll come back and update.

Okay, uninstall the drivers using driver sweeper, then shut down and physically remove the gpu. Run stress tests and see if the problem still persists. If does not, both, test your gpu in another pc and test another gpu in your pc.

I'm glad that you were able to get this sorted. Too bad you didn't do this earlier, you could have saved yourself some hair-loss and headaches. At any rate, I'm sure you will be okay now. The system interrupts caused by your GPU were likely due to an I/O flow error within your GPU. Basically, computations that were allocated to your GPU were not being finalized, or if they were, were not being transmitted as complete. Therefore the system interrupts would occur when new tasks were to be performed. It's also possible that the old tasks that were to be flushed, were not. Either way, it's definitely a GPU problem that I'm sure EVGA will have no problem issuing you a clean refurb for.
