Hi!
I'm planning to do a clean install of Win7 SP1 x64 on my laptop in a day or few.
Can someone please provide two lists for me:
1) Updates you need to hide & don't download/install
2) Updates you need to install manually first after a fresh install of Win7 SP1 x64
I mean something like This, just full up-to-date version.
Thanks! :)

But wouldn't it be better to manually install "long search fix" (this, if I google'd it right) and then install all updates normally (through WUC)?

Yes,that is one way. What makes you think it is better, and why do you need help?

Well, better - cos I prefer to use official methods/links/programs/etc, when it's possible ofc.
Why I need help - cos I have a few questions along the lines of "how to do it properly?".

Just d/dl those .msu files from your link. Then click them and they should install. Reboot, and run windows update.
You will get all the telemetry stuff as well from WU.

Install KB3177467, then KB3172605, then KB4012215, correct?
Also, should I do anything from "Steps to take after Windows installation" section there?

P.S. Thanks for your help! And sorry if I'm OCD'ing too much.

No. Just do exactly as I posted.

Ok, thanks again! And since you didn't mentioned the order - I presume mine was correct.

I will be doing it in a day or two, I will post here afterwards :)

I just did it the long way round a couple of days ago and it didn't take that long at all. It's much better these days. I set to download updates but let me choose whether to install. They all appeared quite quickly. I did all the Important ones first. When it came to the optional ones, my list of ones to hide (telemetry ones taken from elsewhere on this forum) were

2952664
3021917
3068708
3075249
3080149

Most of them were there to hide, but one or two didn't appear at all.

I also opted to hide 4012218 and/or 4012219. March optional roll-up. Read something that put me off those - something to do with gathering info about your laptop to see if it's upgradeable. Can't remember but opted not to install those. Only one appeared.

So I hid the above and installed the rest of the optional updates, then just had a few more updates appear after that.

last year (or so) I created a thread on the RPS game site forum to help me (and others) work out what to install or not, and most of that info i had gotten from threads here on this forum! :)

Anyway just in case it is useful, here is the link to that thread: 'The Windows 10 Resistance Thread':

The Windows 10 Resistance Thread

I would add it is not fully up to date currently. I'm sort of at a loss what to best do since the Rollup updates were a thing, but it might still have some handy info for people wanting to keep a healthy non spyware/windows 10 trojan version of Windows 7 going?
