I am glad you solved your problem and was also wondering why the left hand side of the personalization panel was black and not default sky blue. I kinda figured there was an HP modification in there somewhere but since I do not own an HP envy, could offer no assistance.

OMG GUYS IM SOOO SORRY , I JUST FOUND WHAT THE PROBLEM WAS CAUSE MY LAPTOP IS A DR DRE BEATS EDITION IT HAD A PROGRAM CALLED 'MYCOLOURS' THAT HAD A DR DRE THEME ON , thanks for the help guys

I have the same problem but i did'nt find this program called "mycolours" (i have a french version).

Can you explain where did you find it ? and how did you desactivate it ?
