I recently installed a wireless network adapted and a 7.1 audio card to my computer. It was working perfectly fine before hand, but now barely anything can run on it. I can't run chrome, any gaming software, my anti-virus, nothing. When I click on the icon or try to run as administrator it just doesn't run what do ever and just idles in the processes. I can open control panel, but can't click on anything else because control panel will freeze.. I've ran cc cleaner multiple times and let windows do as many updates as possible but nothing seems to be working. I'm at my wits end here.. To the point where I want to wipe my entire hard drive and go buy an SSD and a new OS along with it. Anything I'm missing..?

A new ssd is never a bad thing. Can you go to safe mode and use a restore point before you installed the audio card? Have you tried removing the audio card? Making sure you have the latest drivers for the audio card?

Your awesome for reading this.
For some reason it won't allow.me to go to safe mode to do a restore.. Which is very frustrating. Tried removing the audio card and it still does the same thing, all drivers up to date. I'm quite confused as to why it's doing this
