*There is like 900 places that this could go, sorry if it is in the wrong spot ;)

So, I just come up off a reinstall. This time separate user accounts for my wife , kids, and myself.

I changed the location of all the folders when you click on "User". I have all this stuff on a separate drive so the kids do not mess with it.

In my drive I have a "My Projects" folder containing all of my programming stuff. I know I can create a new shortcut that just links to the folder, to keep with the My Pictures, My Videos, etc...which I have done. But I'd like to see if there is a way to create another folder type like the My Pictures: you can change the access of it through the location tab. Is this considered a "Special Folder Type"?

I could just pack all this in with the My Documents, however I already have waaaay too many documents...I'm just try to organize things to be a bit more efficient.

Thanks for any help guys.

Why don't you create your folder(s) wherever you like and INCLUDE them into a library that you have previously created.

A Library you create by right clicking on Libraries > New.

To INCLUDE a folder you right click on the folder > Include in Library.

I believe I had already done that, which is probably why none of the new folder links show the option to change the location that the files are stored now.

Sorry to bother with this, I've never needed to keep stuff separated like this. I was thinking there was some sort of additional steps to create a new type of folder. Apparently I was wrong. LOL

Thanks whs
