Netbook not connecting to anything

I have just brought my netbook to a hotel because I am on holiday and I can not connect to any network. I tried to connect to the free, open networks on another computer and it works perfectly. My netbook just comes up with an error message saying "Windows cannot connect to this netbook and it works in Safe Mode with Networking.

Someone fix this issue.

Hi,

have you tried right clicking the network icon on the notification area and selecting 'Troubleshoot Problems'?

This should check your hardware for any issues.

I have checked and it just said there was a problem with the access point and when I click Skip this Step because I am in a hotel, it says it cannot solve the problem. It seems to have solved when I have moved to the window.
