Network starting slow after some programs

That's pretty much my usual solution, to let those start up manually. Right now I have an easy password on my local account to let the network start before programs start and well, works as a temporarily solution. The programs do connect, just not when they autostart. I just tend to like to have them on autostart for.. well.. convenience and my own lazyness.

I have an idea.. these two programs I have put in to custom start with Windows... and doesn't have their own option.. could that be the issue?

Hold down the windows key (the one with the flag on it) and press R. You will get a run box open. Type msconfig in it and press OK. In the windows that opens click on the startup tab. Those are the programs that start when windows loads. Windows needs no programs in startup to load. Uncheck everything except your anti virus, click OK and it will ask for a restart. Restart the computer and go back there and make sure none of the programs re wrote themselves into startup. After a few startups you will find that windows starts quicker. All of the programs will still work just as well when you need them to run. They just don't slow down startup, load drivers which may conflict with other drivers and use system resources by running when you don't need them.

As I wrote in previous post, I like to have my programs at auto startup, the extra seconds it takes to start up makes no real difference to me, it's just that I know these two programs I have set up to startup manually is having issues, and no other.
