Never ending Repair mode, 2 days in. Help please

Ok i have the Beats Audio by dre lao top HP
windows 7
intel core i7
pavilion dv7


Few days ago I started having issues
-Screen begins to Load an then Get a white haze on the internet
Freezing up alot.

well when it happened i got annoyed quick. so i did CTRL ALT DELETE like 20 times Before i got task manager to exit out of everything

Well it didnt want to do any of that so i just hit the power cotton an shut it down. Latter i turned it on Got the little loading flag before i can scan my finger to log in and a blue screen with numbers an letters flashed no time to read it.

I get a screen
-Start up repair (recommended)
-Start normally

Try to start normaly but goes an does the blue screen brings me back to the two options

Try repair well it just sits in the repair screen with teh blue bar that scans to the right with text sayign this could take several minnits to an hr. well i left it sit liek that for over 24 hrs an gave up.

I just want to log in lol. i seen simmaler post about this but thoes people got a message an repair completed mine dose not finish an i cant get to a command promp

Now in command prompt do:

diskpart
list  vol
exit

Now you know drive letters of the disks. They can be different as in normal win7!

To check the disks for errors

chkdsk/f  c:
chkdsk/f  d:
[COLOR=red]and so on[/COLOR]

Post results. I think "startup repair" was still busy checking the disk or froze during that step

What is on blue screen? Use http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/666-advanced-boot-options.html -> "Disable Automatic Restart on System Failure" to let it stay on screen!

Boot into BIOS setup by one of the methods shown in BIOS Setup Information and Menu Options | HP® Support. See if the HD is still listed under Storage devices and in the BIOS Boot order. It may be listed by its serial number which you can google to find it's maker to run HD Diagnostic in addition to Disk Check from the System Recovery Options Command Line.

Once HD checks out work through these steps for Troubleshooting Windows 7 Failure to Start.

Here is the deal when i start computer i can press ESC

here is what i get

Starup Menu
-F1 System Info
-F2 System Diagnostics
-F9 Boot Device Options
-F10 BIOS setup
-F11 Sytem Recovery
Enter - Continue Startup

if i dont press ESC it will go to the loading symbol with the windows flag sit their for a bit longer then normal then a blue screen flashes gives me a black screen that looks like this

If i do repair it goes to a screen that is white an has some grey in it on the right of the screen no letters no nothing just a blank screen. no box pops up for the recovery part. IMPORTANT!!! few days ago i just let it sit for 4 hrs eventually a screen popped up an started system recovery. it sat liek that for 37 hrs or more. never finished recovery so i just shut it off. i cant get past a recovery. cant even get to a thing to start from later time. an yes my HD shows up in boot menu

Have you started on these steps yet? Why was there no response to them but just restating your problem? You'll need to follow the steps for us to even know what is wrong. Use the WIn7 installer DVD or flash stick provided to do the repairs which require it, not the Repair which should autostart from Win7 and obviously is not working.

Not seeing a tab in Bios set up that says storage devices at the top i see
Main-security-diagnostics-system configuration-exit
Im guessing is should be under Main but i dont see anything about a hard drive under main just serial number uuid number bios version some other info

See if HP diagnostics will run from boot by pressing the ESC or F9 key at boot.

If not run the HD maker's HD diagnostics linked earlier. If you don't know the HD brand then run Partition Wizard bootable CD Partition surface test or Seagate Seatools DOS CD scan, burning either ISO to CD using WIndows Image Burner.
