just finished my new build but having problems.

the problem is pretty simple, firstly lm getting no display and the system seems to be power cycling. basically l press the power button everything powers, cpu fan seems to be spinning, everything seems to be powering up then after a few seconds it powers down then back on again (it will continue until l turn off the PSU switch), just wondering if lve missed anything because l cant think of what the problem could be.

by the way this is the board lm using: Gigabyte GA-Z87-D3HP Socket 1150 DVI HDMI 7.1 Channel Audio ATX Motherboard - Ebuyer

turns out it was a ram issue, the smaller profile ram was harder to see if it was clipped in properly.

only issue l have now is for some reason the wireless keeps on stalling but lm not sure if its the firewall at the second. still investigating.. as it sort of comes and goes.

check to see thats both the router an the adapter are using WPA-2 security, make sure its using 2.4GHz "G" connection, and make sure its set at 20MHz or 20/40MHz. are any other devices disconnecting?

my laptop is connecting fine with no issues.. in fact this same adapter was fine up till this build.. tho its somewhat more stable than it was now.

on another note, can someone recommend a good temp monitor.. l like to keep an eye on CPU temps but the update for one of the motherboards apps seems to have gotten rid of the page where l could see the temps.

I use HWinfo; it shows temps, voltages, fan speeds, etc.
