New patches for The Sims 3

Seeing that the Sims is such a popular game I thought I'd let you know that the Sims 3 has released a host of patches....

The Sims 3 - 1.17.60 Patch
The Sims 3: Ambitions - 4.5.6 Patch
The Sims 3: Fast Lane Stuff - 5.2.4 Patch
The Sims 3: High-End Loft Stuff - 3.8.6 Patch
The Sims 3: World Adventures - 2.12.8 Patch

My daughter just happens to like the game as well

they have all the incremental patches that lead up to the latest ones.

question...
if i'm gonna update the world adventure, should i update the base game too?

In the case of expansion packs, patches for them usually update the base game as well.

With that said, you could upate the the expansion then attempt to update the base game and see what happens. If you find you can't update the base game that means the expansion already took care of it.

You might also look at the patching instructions as they will state what they patch.
