New PC with sleep mode problems and BSOD

Hello,

The problems I am having happen when the PC has been left idle i.e. goes into sleep mode or is just sitting and not using any programs, if you are doing something, say playing a game it will not have any issues but if nothing is happening the following problems then surface: freezes, slow and needs to be reset, BSOD and sometimes it has trouble even booting the BIOS it has a continuous loop of resetting, like an on and off switch for a light.

I have read through the posting instructions and I have attached the BSOD Dump & System File Collection.rar and System Health Report.rar

System is as below:

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit, installed in November 2010
This is the original OS for the system
This is an OEM
PSU, CASE & HD 5770 are a Year old, everything else is brand new (2 months)
CPU: Intel Core i5 760 2.8 GHz 8MB
Motherboard: ASUS P7H55-M-USB3
Memory: GEIL 4GB Kit DDR3 Value Plus C9 1333MHZ
Graphics Card: ATI Sapphire HD5770
Hard Drive: Samsung Ecogreen F2 1.5TB 5400/32MB/SATA2
PSU: ANTEC 650W Power Supply
Case: CoolerMaster Storm Scout

I'm not sure if this is your case but here it goes.
When you do not use your computer for a specific period of time it will go to sleep.
Prior to going to sleep it must update the hibernation file in the C: drive root directory.
You will not see this file as it is hidden. So whatever may be left open an unsaved is stored here until you wake it up. Such as a word document or excel spreadsheet that was not saved. When you wake up some memory has a little problem and freezes the system.

OK, Now you return and want to wake your computer up. Not sure how you do it but I just hit me start button and everything starts back up.

Before the computer starts backup it tried to read the hibernation file and get you back where you were.
I have heard in the past year many times this doesn't work right. Can't tell you why but at least this is a start.

I personally have shut down the making of my hibernation file and do not use it on my desktop or laptop. It makes the bootup longer and the file can be very large in size.

If you want to check out how to shut down the hybernation file/more look under control panel and Power Options. You may find more here on step by stepp. Maybe someone will jump in and help more.

This is just my thoughts what could be your problem.

Hi Noobie Mcgee and Welcome!

AVG is known to be a cause of BSOD's on some Win 7 systems so you need to uninstall it. Download Microsoft Security Essentials as its replacement. Uninstall AVG, Re-boot to Safe Mode to run the correct AVG Removal Tool for your system. Re-boot to normal mode and install MSE. Make sure Windows firewall is enabled!

Many people are having issues with Catalyst 10.12. See this thread for issues regarding Catalyst 10.12. It may be advisable to install a Previous Catalyst Version

Be sure to run Driver Sweeper in safe mode to clear remnants before installing your "new" Catalyst drivers.

Thanks Fimble for the suggestions, I did everything that your said expect update the drivers for USB wireless adapter because mine is actually a Netgear Wn111v2 not a D-link and the link didnt work for the update to PCASp50a64 but unfortunitly I am still having the same problems.

Any other suggestions?
