There would be no noticable difference in speed, but you are inviting problems if you put 2 different types of ram in a machine. You would be better off if you got the same brand, voltage, frequency and timings as you have now, or if you buy all new ram as 1 kit. Buying new ram you will only be limited by your motherboards cmpatability. And kits are made to run together and tested to do so.

+1 for what essenbe stated, don't mix RAM types. All sticks in a system should to be identical, whether there's 2, 4, or 6 of them.
