i disagree with those last couple statements.
mac doesnt rly have tht high end hardware..
their imacs still are on dual cores and quad cores for like 2000 dollars. they didnt start selling 5000 series gfx cards until like a year after they came out. their only decent system is the mac pro, (AKA PC SERVER)
and the whole multimedia thing is srsly a myth. I do 3D and video editing and mac cant compete with some of the pcs ive used, plus linux is used in 3D comapnies way more than mac osx.
but yea, all in all the other pics are true lol

Actually i just checked out the price as well.

Though its this years model, that still set you back a good $1800 to $2000

and I wasn't looking at the software either.

See, this is one of those matters again, why spend soo much money on something that could have easily cost you half or even less than half.

And on top of all that, the i7 you have, if i am not mistaken, going by the speed stated, its a i7 870 or an i7 875k

Never, will i understand, why people would want to spend all that money on something like that.

All i can say is, if people love OS x so much, why don't they go out, buy a windows pc and dual boot it. surely it can't be that hard. And surely it would have been sooo much more cheaper

Lucky

Dual booting PC based PC with Mac can get very sticky, believe me, I tried. Requires very specific hardware and no guarantee all of the features will work.

i never said they didnt sell i7's i just said even with quadcores it will cost you around 2000 maybe more
http://oi51.tinypic.com/2hnrvxu.jpg
notice how the build you have is around 2.4 where as i can build a similar pc
for about half that price and guaranteed same performance probably even better with a lot of money left over to further upgrade to SLI or w.e meets your fancy
http://oi56.tinypic.com/2mc85e0.jpg
in addition, assuming i had a monitor and OS which most of us do have this build would have cost you anywhere from 750-800 dollars.
