No application Windows when opening mspaint

Hello to everyone,

I know, that this is a forum for Windows 7. However my problem is on Windows Server 2008R2 Ent, but with normal desktop application mspaint.

There is a problem, that sometimes it is not possible to open mspaint untill restart of the system. When I run mspaint, there is no error message (neither in event viewer) and no application windows. In task manager I can see that process is running but thats all. If I will provide you with memory dump of mspaint, is there someone who can help?

Hello Martin, and welcome to Seven Forums.

Do you have an icon on your taskbar for Paint?

If so, you might see if using the tutorial below may help if Paint is just offscreen somehow.
