No LAN connectivity

Hello,

I have a LAN connection for my PC. Last night I removed the cable from the PC and connected to my Laptop. It worked fine. Later, I re-connected the LAN cable to the PC and tried to connect to the internet. It showed a yellow mark. When i ran network diagnostics, it said "No valid IP configuration".

* I have reset the Winsock and restarted the PC. Still no luck.

* It keeps on identifying the network

Any other suggestions?

How about ipconfig /release and then renew, and ipconifg /dnsflush?

This is a CLIENT PC over LAN. The same connection still works on the Laptop. So the above instructions cant be done

Ok now, it worked. I guessed it may work if I reconnect it to the Laptop and again connect it to the PC. As per my guess, it works now

I connected the LAN again to the LAPTOP. It worked well. Then, connected the LAn again back to my PC which had the problem. Now it worked
