Solved No network access - unidentefied network

Hello all, this is my first post, so please bear with me. I'm also kind of a noob at this stuff...

I just bought a dlink DIR-600 wireless router, and it works great (so far), standard-low security configuration, all good on that front. My problem is about my laptop's wireless connectivity. When I first configured the router it worked fine (yesterday evening and this morning). When I got home today, I noticed the yellow triangle with the exclamation sign over the wireless bars, and a message that says "No network access". I tried all the basics, resetting the router, the network adapter, the computer, the modem, and nothing did the trick. What's got me truly puzzled is the fact that ALL other wireless devices can connect to the network (my iPod, iPhone and my cousin's PC and iPad), with no issues whatsoever. My computer just won't connect to the network through wireless card. I'm connected to the router via Ethernet cable, and all is fine. But I need my wireless capability. I also tried uninstalling and re-installing the latest card drivers, but no luck. Searching the web I found a solution about assigning IP addresses and DNS gateways manually, inside the wireless' IPv4 properties...nada. I also tried removing the wireless network and connecting as a new wireless network, nothing.

Please notice that the problem is not "No Internet access", but "No network access".

Also important to say that my computer connects normally when the router is set to default settings (SSID: dlink and no pass/security settings). But as soon as I assign a password (keeping SSID: dlink), the problem happens.

I'm really stuck here, and I need your help, any suggestions will do, honestly. I also pasted the command prompt ipconfig/all info, if you need to check it out.

You should let the router handle the networking aspect by removing everything from the IPv4 properties window, including the DNS servers. Type the DNS server addresses into the routers settings instead. You might also want to set up your own SSID name rather than using D-Link.

In your routers set up page for wireless use WPA2 security with AES encryption, most Windows 7 drivers are made to work with those security settings.

You should also go into device manager and disable the Microsoft WIFI miniport as it's famous for causing wireless connection problems. It's only used for setting up an internal access point.

There are also a few anti virus software's that can cause wireless connection problems like AVG, Eset, and a few other so uninstalling them if you are using them might help.

Be sure and disconnect your Ethernet cable when attempting to reconnect using wireless.

Chev!!!! I need your help once more. I'm about to smash my computer and router against every wall I find. I can't connect again! It now says "Unindentefied network" - "No Internet access". I've never felt this frustrated before.

Please help me out again (if you can)
