Hey Bumkin, what do you mean by "add your IP provider info"?
In my DSL/Router I have to setup my Internet Provider (AT&T in my case).
So for example, in my older D-Link DI-704 router you would need to set the "WAN Type" whether it gets a static IP address, Dynamic, PPP over Ethernet, or Dial-Up. For "PPPoE" you would/may need to enter your account# (AT&T in my case) and ISP password. If it's not in the DSL modem settings.
On the other hand, my AsusRT-AC66U has an auto ISP locator (but I believe one has to say what type of ISP connection you have (DYnamicIP, PPPoE, PPTP, L2tp, or static).
