No sound from my PC through my TV.

Hello, my problem is I am trying to play sound from my PC through my TV.

My TV is a JVC DynaPIX HD, and my PC is a ACER Aspire, my graphics card is a ATI Radeon HD 5500 Series. I have asked staff at a PC shop and I was told to use a HDMI cable which is what i bought, I have now connected the HDMI cable from the back of my pc into my TV but I am still getting no sound. I have also tried on my volume control options from speakers to Digital Audio (HDMI) and Realtek HDMI Output but this is also to no avail.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

on your tv remote , see what settings you have in the input menu area , PC or pc dvi . Should work on PC ..

Let us know if it was a tv input issue as I have recently had problems getting my 5400 card to work via HDMI, sorted now though!
