No volume bar control on screen -Lenovo SL500,windows 7 ultimate

Hello everybody,
I am new on this website .I recently installed a windows 7 ultimate on my laptop. Lenovo SL500 and I can not control
the volume from keyboard for USB speakers and no bar control volume on screen.Previously I had Windows XP and it work.
If someone out there could help me I really appreciate it.

Hi and Welcome to the Forums ..... Have you tried downloading keyboard and mouse driver from Lenovo web site ?

First of all, your sound works?

No volume icon in your task tray or if you click the double ^ icon there?

Try this:

Right click on your time/date area of task tray and go PROPERTIES, the icon turn off/on is there.

Donovan, as stated above if you can control the volume via Windows 7 you problably need Power management: http://support.lenovo.com/en_US/downloads/default.page
