A friend has two computers one is connecting wired & wireless the other isn't.

Changed cable, changed ports on router, restarted router, removed wireless in Device mgr, tried a third computer that would not connect but the one that's connecting is still connecting.

New info

When he removes wireless & network adapters and reinstalls the computer network works for awhile then quits.
What to try next?

My friend uses Carbonite and restored files/folders from a previous backup and all is well.

I didn't know Carbonite backed up system files (drivers.......) but it must.

Still a mystery to me. I'm going to research Carbonite more. He did say that there is a function that will restore your OS.

Can you provide more information? Such as what error message do you get when trying to connect wireless? Are you able to see any networks at all?
