I just was wondering if disabling Aero during gaming really made any difference. Or if that's just some troubleshooting fallacy. If it does make any sort of difference on performance, is there a faster way to disable it. I really like having transparent windows and such when I'm surfing the web, but I want to be able to hotkey it or something to turn it off on the fly. I know some games will ask you if you want them to turn it off, and after noticing that, I was also wondering if there is a prompt I can add to their startup files or something to disable Aero automatically.
Thanks
Thanks
